Kevin Clifton recently had the disappointment of being eliminated from Strictly Come Dancing, but it's not all bad news for the dancer.

After last year's win with Stacey Dooley, Kevin exited this year's Strictly early with partner Anneka Rice. On the bright side, he's had one big positive to focus on following his elimination - his birthday!

Kevin turned 37 on Sunday (13 October) and girlfriend Stacey made sure to mark the occasion on social media, sharing a glimpse into celebrations.

Stacey posted an image of herself and Kevin in front of gold balloons spelling out 'King Kev' - the nickname she started using for her dance partner-turned-boyfriend during last year's Strictly.

Strictly stars including Kevin's sister Joanne, pro dancer Amy Dowden and 2018 contestant Ashley Roberts all commented with love hearts, sharing in the birthday celebrations.

While Stacey and Kevin are relatively private about their relationship, we're starting to see more of it on social media.

The week Kevin was kicked out of Strictly, Stacey shared an image of herself cheering him on with the caption: "His biggest fan."

Strictly Come Dancing continues Saturday on BBC One.
