Strictly Come Dancing made its triumphant return on Saturday (September 21), trouncing ITV's Britain's Got Talent: The Champions in the ratings.
While the judging line-up looked a little different with the addition of Motsi Mabuse, it was business as usual: 'Fab-u-lous', VTs and a lot of fake tan.
Or it was mostly business as usual, as the show dropped one segment that's been part of the package since forever.
It was actually Love Island's Curtis Pritchard, who was on Dancing with the Stars in Ireland and is professional dancer AJ Pritchard's brother, who pointed the missing moment out during an appearance on Hits Radio on Monday morning (September 23).
"Before they dance," he said, "the pro and celeb wave to cameras, they run the VT, then they dance.
"That hasn't been in it this year – I think everyone missed that it hasn't been in there."
To be fair, we didn't notice it either. And while the pre-VT waving is an iconic moment, it's a little cheesy...
