Strictly viewers give verdict on new judge Motsi Mabuse

It's no easy feat to step onto the Strictly Come Dancing judging panel as a new face, though it seems Motsi Mabuse passed with flying colours.

The new judge made her proper debut on Saturday night's (September 21) first episode, and it appears that viewers have already taken a shine to her.

From the off with her first bit of feedback to Alex Scott and Neil Jones, many declared their love for Motsi. One said that she had "pure sass", while another declared: "Motsi fits right in, doesn't she? Hurrah."

Others noted a hilarious comment she made to Chris Ramsey, as one person tweeted: "'You're face was fine but your body was on holiday'. We're two dances in and new judge Motsi has already had a couple of decent one-liners."

As well as loving her personality, many also praised her constructive criticism, with one fan arguing: "Got to be honest I do think Motsi is critiquing really well. V impressed."

"I'm absolutely loving @MOTSI_MABUSE she talks a lot of sense without dragging a celeb down.....Congratulations girl you're gonna rule!!" another added.

Many more sang her praises, saying she was a "brilliant addition" to the line-up and that she was a "breath of fresh air".

Meanwhile, ahead of her debut, Motsi spoke about how she will judge her sister Oti, revealing: "With Oti, we've spoken. We're very professional about what we do. My sister is a brilliant dancer and so are the other dancers. We all know that!

"Literally, I'm not judging them. I'm judging the celebrity that's gonna learn to dance and how he deals with it. I'm going to try to be fair."
