It's taken three weeks, but we finally have the first Hollywood Handshake of The Great British Bake Off 2019 – and it happened during Bread Week.
The coveted handshake from judge (and bread expert) Paul Hollywood came during the technical challenge on Tuesday (September 10) when the bakers were tasked with making tear-and-share bread.
The lucky recipient was 26-year-old theatre manager Michael Chakraverty, whose chilli tear-and-share was impressive enough to make Paul extend his hand.
And viewers on Twitter were delighted to see the return of the Hollywood Handshake, especially as fan-favourite Michael was on the receiving end.

After receiving the handshake from Paul, Michael exclaimed: "My mum's going to cry." (She might not be the only one, Michael.)
And in the end not only did Michael walk away with the first Hollywood Handshake of the series, he was also named Star Baker thanks to his Mediterranean camp fire-inspired loaves.
Sadly, it was goodbye hugs for Amelia who was eliminated, following in the footsteps of support worker Dan Chambers and part-time waiter Jamie Finn.
