Made in Chelsea's Jamie Laing has opened up about quitting Strictly Come Dancing after injuring his foot.
Following the news of his departure, with the upcoming series having not even started yet, the reality star shared a video on Instagram and described his premature bow out as "upsetting and devastating".
"When these things happen you have to be positive, and when life throws you a curveball you've got to knock it out the park," he said.
"I will be supporting every one of my buddies who are dancing this year. 2019 is going to be incredible. They're a great bunch of people, they're wonderful. I wish I could be dancing, but I can't. But they will rock the dance floor."
He finished by adding: "All of you, who are dancing this year, and the people that I love, go and smash it and make us all proud – I know you will. Good luck to everyone."
Doubt was cast over Jamie's future in the competition after he was recently pictured using crutches with his foot in a walker boot.
He soon confirmed his departure from the show in a statement, saying: "I'm absolutely devastated that I'm unable to continue in the competition, I was so excited to hit the dance floor!
"I would like to wish the lovely couples all the very best and hope they enjoy their time on the show to the fullest."

Strictly's executive producer Sarah James added: "We are so sad that Jamie won't be able to take part in the series, he had already lit up the ballroom during the launch show with his boundless energy and enthusiasm."
Strictly Come Dancing is back on Saturday, September 7, airing at 7.10pm on BBC One.
