Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby are huge mainstays of daytime TV, and it seems they have no plans to go anywhere anytime soon after celebrating their 10-year anniversary on This Morning earlier this week.

The presenters have opened up about their future on the ITV morning show, with Phil hinting that he is hoping to co-host the show for many more years yet.

"I'd be quite happy [to continue], so long as I'm in good health and Holly is too," he told the Daily Mirror. "It's an evolving show, you never know what direction it's going to take, you know none of us know what direction life is going to take."

Holly said that she hoped the show itself would keep going for at least another decade, or even two (presumably with them both at the helm).

"I hope it continues to be in people's front room for the next ten years," she said. "I hope it continues to grow, I feel that's a real strength of the show.

"It's always adapting and changing, so I think as long as it continues to do that and know when it's serious and know when its not taking itself too seriously, there's no reason why it can't be around for another ten years, or another twenty."

Well, as long as we get many Phil and Holly shenanigans for years to come, we're pretty happy.

This Morning airs on weekdays from 10.30am on ITV.
