The Great British Bake Off continued last night (3 September) with the remaining 12 contestants tackling biscuit week, producing somewhat mixed results.

After failing to impress Prue and Paul with his fig rolls, and leaving them underwhelmed with his guitar-shaped show stopper, Jamie was asked to leave the Bake Off tent.

It's fair to say fans of the show weren't too pleased with the elimination.

As pointed out in the above posts, it was Alice Fevronia who impressed the judges the most during biscuit week, earning herself the title of star baker.

The Great British Bake Off airs Tuesdays at 8pm on Channel 4.
