Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Marquez welcomed their first child, a daughter named Mia, into the world only last month, but the pair are already teaching their little one an important skill.

The couple live together in Manchester but they're clearly keen for Mia to honour the Spanish heritage of dad Gorka, who hails from Bilbao.

Gemma shared an adorable video of Gorka speaking with the little one in his native tongue as she looked up at him sweetly.

"No Hablo Español yet papa," Gemma captioned the video, roughly translating to 'I don't speak Spanish".

No wonder, given she's only a matter of weeks old, but start 'em young, guys!

Gorka is clearly besotted with his daughter just like Gemma, he's shared a series of lovely photographs, including one showing him relaxing with Mia.

"I’m told that 28 years ago I used to lay like this on my dad's chest. A memory I always want to remember, but being far too young I can’t. Now I can lay Mia on my chest and I now know what my dad means when he says it’s something a father never forgets," Gorka said.

With doting parents like this, we're sure Mia will be speaking Spanish - and achieving anything else she puts her mind to - in no time at all.
