Strictly Come Dancing couple Gemma Atkinson and Gorka Marquez have shared the first pictures of their newborn daughter – and they've even confirmed the baby's name, too.

Gemma and Gorka confirmed that they had welcomed their first child together earlier this month, and now, nearly two weeks after she was born, the pair have shared the first pictures of their daughter with their fans.

Both Gemma and Gorka posted the same two adorable pictures on their Instagram pages on Tuesday (July 16) and added the same caption: "Mia Louise Marquez."

Gemma previously confirmed that Mia had been born on Thursday, July 4 with another Instagram announcement, sharing an image of the word 'Family'.

"And just like that, we're a three!" Gemma wrote. "Our beautiful baby daughter arrived on Thursday 4th July and myself and Gorks couldn't be happier. She's incredible and she certainly made an entrance, giving us all quite a fright at times! Little Miss Independent already!"

Over the weekend, Gorka also shared a touching tribute to his partner and daughter as he lamented having to be away from them while he finishes up work on his Here Come the Boys tour.

"I took this photo few hours after Gem gave birth to our gorgeous baby girl," he posted on Instagram.

"I've been only five days away from both of them and It already feels like five months. Counting down the hours to be back with both of them and melt my eyes looking at those two beautiful faces..."

Gemma first announced her pregnancy in February this year, and the birth of their daughter follows a baby shower thrown for Gemma last month.
