Fans of Big Little Lies will be pleased to hear one of its producers and stars Reese Witherspoon is bringing another best-selling novel to our screens - this time, Little Fires Everywhere.
The hit novel by Celeste Ng wowed readers in 2017, including Reese, who secured the rights to turn it into a TV series.
Now, Reese and Kerry Washington are bringing the book to life, taking on the leading roles of Elena Richardson and Mia Warren.
Excitingly, the series is coming to the UK, and will be launched on Amazon Prime Video in May.
While you wait for the episodes to drop, here’s everything else you need to know about Little Fires Everywhere…
Little Fires Everywhere: What’s it about?
The story is set in a placid Ohio suburb and follows Elena (Witherspoon’s character), a local journalist and meticulous rule follower who helps to maintain order in Shaker Heights while trying to keep her family of six happy.
When Mia (Washington’s character) and her daughter Pearl arrive and become Elena’s tenants, the two women clash while their kids become friends. The show explores the links between the two families, one of which is an intense adoption trial.
Little Fires Everywhere: Who’s in it?
As well as Reese and Kerry, the series stars Joshua Jackson as Elena’s husband Bill and Rosemarie DeWitt as her close friend Linda McCullough.
The show also stars Jade Pettyjohn as Lexie, Jordan Elsass as Trip, Gavin Lewis as Moody, and Megan Stott as Izzy. Pearl Warren will be played by Lexi Underwood.
