The Durrells sadly came to an end last month after four seasons, but it sounds like there may still be adventures in Corfu to come after all.
That's because the ITV show's executive producer has confirmed that talks were underway, with the show's writer Simon Nye to adapt more books in Gerald Durrell's series. Yay!
"There are other books," Sally Woodward Gentle told Deadline. "We've been down to Bournemouth to meet [Gerald Durrell’s] granddaughter.
"We've got a strong idea of what we're going to do and Simon's starting to work on it."
While another series is no doubt exciting news, two of the show's stars recently admitted they would love to return to their roles in the form of a Christmas special or a movie.
"We'd love a Christmas special or an Easter special," Callum Woodhouse (who played Leslie Durrell) said. "Downton Abbey's got the movie coming out, why can't we?"
He even suggested a Durrells musical, adding: "Or the musical! Yeah, Danny [Mac] could be in it with us."
Meanwhile, co-star Josh O'Connor recently spoke to Digital Spy and didn't rule out a revival somewhere down the line, saying: "I'm sure there are stories to be told but it just sort of feels like a really good time to give it some space now.
"All of us are off doing different things and that's really exciting, and it's been a beautiful part of our lives, so who knows if we'll ever come back to it."
The Durrells aired on ITV.
