The One Show's Alex Jones isn't the only one on the chat show with a new addition on board these days.
As you may know, Alex recently announced live on the BBC One series that she's expecting another baby with her husband Charlie Thomson, to the delight of viewers and fellow guests.
However, her co-presenter Matt Baker has grown something over the holidays that's getting a much more divisive reaction from viewers. We're talking about his post-Christmas beard.
Matt was sporting the facial fuzz when he and Alex returned to The One Show for the first episode of 2019 on Monday (January 7) to interview Grantchester's James Norton and Tom Brittney.
The beard went unacknowledged for much of the show, even though it was getting a big reaction on social media. Finally, Alex admitted that Matt's facial hair was getting mixed reviews as the two signed off for the night.
"The hot topic is Matt's beard," Alex joked, as her co-host chuckled alongside her.
She then asked viewers to sound off: "Some love it, some hate it! I love it, what do you think?"
Alex wasn't joking! There was surprisingly a lot of talk about Matt's beard:
