The visitor centre includes a canalside cafe, factory tours, holiday and weekend family activities, interactive displays and the largest collection of historic moulds in Europe.

Burleigh pottery is some of the most renowned and instantly identifiable in the world, and it's difficult to believe that such a superb, traditional brand should ever run into trouble. However, that's just what happened a few years ago, when the factory faced closure.

With the glorious intervention of The Prince's Regeneration Trust in June 2011, the company is now booming, with the historic factory proving an enticing tourist attraction, and pottery being provided to the US and China. The visitor centre includes a canalside cafe, factory tours, holiday and weekend family activities, interactive displays and the largest collection of historic moulds in Europe.

The newly reopened visitor experience enables the public to learn about the history of the pottery. It's now possible to see the pottery being made using traditional techniques, while there is also a shop selling pottery made on site. The restoration of the site has undoubtedly been a success that will allow Burleigh to continue producing its beautiful pottery for many years to come.
