Strictly Come Dancing’s Shirley Ballas arrived at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show today (23 May) to highlight a special garden on show at the event.

The head judge was at the event to support the Alder Hey Urban Foraging Station garden at Chelsea this year, which will be relocated to the ground of Alder Hey Children’s Hospital in Liverpool after the show.

Once there, patients and family members will be able to enjoy the garden during their hospital stays and visits.

Shirley is an ambassador for the hospital’s charity appeal and joined young patient Betty Batt along with her family in the garden this morning (23 May).

Betty and her family were present to meet Shirley Ballas and see the finished Chelsea display, in representation of all the families who will be able to use the garden in future.

To attend the show, Shirley wore a stunning, floor-length floral dress and chic, cream blazer.
