8 teddy fleece bedding sets to keep you cosy this winter

That'll save some money on the heating!

It's happened: winter is here. The heating is on and the evenings are getting colder. The clocks have gone back and, to us, that means it's time to get cosy.

Much like a chunky throw blanket or comfy pair of pyjamas, teddy fleece is a warm and super comfortable material that will seriously elevate the cosiness of your winter bed setup — it's like going to sleep in a dressing gown.

If you're already a warm sleeper, this fabric isn't quite as breathable as other types of bedding on the market and you may prefer a linen spread, or you may prefer the softness of a teddy sheet alongside the cooler comfort of a cotton pillowcase and duvet for the best of both.

How should I wash teddy fleece bedding?

Most teddy fleece bedding can be machine washed at 40C, which is one of the perks of this type of bedding. Do check the label, however, as there are usually variations on whether you can tumble dry and iron teddy fleece material — some are OK at lower temperatures and some recommend not to tumble dry or iron at all, so it's best to follow the care instructions with your new sheets to keep them soft and fluffy for longer!
