It used to be that domestic skills were passed down through the generations. What you didn’t pick up and practise at home, you learned in domestic science lessons at school. But now? You can delegate dinner to Deliveroo. ‘Buy with one click’ is so much easier than ‘make do and mend’.

At Good Housekeeping, we love a hack. After all, our founding mission, established over 100 years ago now, was that ‘there should be no drudgery in the house’. We’ve stayed true to that ethos and we’re all for anything that makes life easier. Still, we’re interested.
