While many of us appreciate summer and the warmer weather, there is nothing like those chilly autumnal walks, cosy evenings and delicious comfort food that comes with this time of year.
Although John Lewis says to really embrace the change in season, why not give your bedroom decor a refresh with some vibrant autumnal bedding and on-trend home accessories this year.
Sharing a stylish autumnal bedroom on its Instagram, the brand revealed its top tips for transitioning your bedroom this season.

Seeing as autumn/winter is centred around being warm and snuggly, layering your bedroom with different home accessories is a great way to add some depth and cosiness to your room.
If you're not sure where to layer; always start with the bed. Simply add some cushions, blankets, and throws to give your bedroom a more luxurious feel to it.
