As the British public grow older, is it down to us to prepare better for the latter stages of life? Would this leaflet help?
BBC Breakfast released this image of a potential flyer that could be rolled out to everyone as they turn 50.
From advice for health and fitness to money and retirement, the document covers all bases but it seems most people find the whole thing both patronising and obvious.
One Twitter user described it as, 'An idiot's guide (i.e. a guide from an idiot).'
While another commented, 'I would feel patronised to receive this at any age. We all start "ageing" from the day we are born.'
