Fudge is one of those magical recipes that can be whipped up in as little as five minutes with just a handful of ingredients.

Whether as a treat for yourself our a thoughtful homemade gift, fudge recipes can be customised - adding nuts to the recipe, crushed biscuits on top or with added flavour such as ginger or cardamom.

A handful of chocolate and a tin of condensed milk are nearly all the ingredients you need for classic chocolate fudge.

Our quickest fudge recipe is our easy 5-minute chocolate fudge. There are also just five ingredients needed and the shortcut is using a microwave rather than melting in a bowl over simmering water. Simply melt the icing sugar, milk, cocoa powder and butter for two mins in a microwave. Gently stir in chopped peanuts and then chill for 20mins. And that's as difficult as it gets.

For a fudge recipe with even less ingredients, we recommend our three-ingredient chocolate Oreo fudge. A tin of condensed milk, white chocolate and packet of Oreos is all that's on the shopping list. We recommend chilling this fudge recipe for at least 2hrs. Hopefully you can wait that long.
