Risottos need a little TLC and plenty of stirring as the risotto rice absorbs the hot stock, developing the tender, creamy texture that make risottos a comforting classic.

We've put together our favourite risotto recipes - from bacon and squash to wild mushroom.

But if stirring isn't for you we have oven baked risottos and even slow cooker risottos. What's not to love?
