Total Time:
20 mins
Ingredients
3/4Tbsp.
vegetable oil
4
corn on the cob
Directions
Step 1Preheat air fryer to 180°C. Brush oil all over corn and season generously. Place the corn into the air fryer basket.
Step 2Cook for 18-20min, until tender and slightly charred. Serve.
Do I have to use oil?
No, you can also use mayonnaise to inject some flavour during cooking. Brush the outside of your cobs all over with mayo, instead of veg oil, then cook in the air fryer following the instructions above. While you can brush melted butter on to your corn post-cooking, we wouldn’t recommend cooking the corn in butter, as it will burn.
How can I flavour my corn?
If you fancy jazzing up your cob, then try sprinkling over sweet smoked paprika, finely diced chilli, coriander, finely sliced spring onions, feta and lime juice post-cooking for a Mexican twist.
Love everything bagel seasoning? Coat your corn with butter post-cooking and sprinkle everything bagel seasoning all over for a tasty snack.
For something extra spicy, drizzle over kimchi mayo, sriracha, finely grated Parmesan and some finely sliced chives.
What can I serve my corn with?
Serve on the side of a creamy pasta dish, such as macaroni cheese, to cut through the richness.
Shave your corn and serve in our corn salsa for the perfect addition to a BBQ table.
Serve alongside grilled fish (especially prawns) or meat for a sweet side dish.
