A classic white pie sauce topped with crispy breadcrumbs makes for ultimate comfort food. We’ve added Stilton to the topping to use up leftovers, but you can leave it out if you prefer.
We've turned any leftover turkey and ham you may have into a creamy crumble to enjoy as ultimate comfort food!
unsalted butter
leeks, trimmed, halved lengthways and finely sliced
garlic cloves, crushed
plain flour
hot chicken or turkey stock
double cream
wholegrain mustard
cooked/leftover turkey, shredded
cooked/leftover ham, shredded
dried breadcrumbs
Finely grated zest 1 lemon
Small handful parsley, finely chopped
olive oil

GET AHEAD:
Prepare to end of step 3 up to a day ahead, allowing the filling to cool completely before scattering over the breadcrumb mixture. Cover and chill. To serve, uncover and complete recipe, adding 5-10min to cooking time.
