Directions
Step 1Heat the butter in a slow cooker on high until melted. Stir in the sugar, vinegar, port (if using) and spices.
Step 2Add the cabbage and raisins and stir until coated. Cover with the lid and cook on high for 2-2.5hr (timings may vary between slow cooker models), until the cabbage is wilted and tender.
Step 3Season to taste with salt and pepper, adding a little more vinegar or sugar if you prefer. Serve.
