Meadow Fresh Potato Salad

Yellow, Circle, Icon, Sticker, Sign,
Lidl

Overall Score: 66/100

Creamy, soft pieces of potato in a rich sauce. There are tart vinegar notes and a gentle creamy aroma, followed by strong vinegar taste, our panel picked up on a hint of mustard and found it a touch too tangy and acidic.

In-store only, Lidl, £1.09 for 500g

10

Aldi The Deli Potato Salad

Font, Signage, Logo, Sign, Rectangle, Electric blue, Brand, Parallel,
Aldi

Overall Score: 59/100

Thick cut potatoes in a thin sauce, lacking richness and body. There is a distinct potato aroma and herbaceous notes from the parsley and chives which gives this a fresh aroma. Unfortunately, it was unbalanced in flavour and not well distributed, with some finding it incredibly overpowering with vinegar, whilst others found it bland and lacking punch against the creaminess.

In-store only, Aldi, £0.59 for 500g
