WINNER Co-op Goat's Cheese
Overall Score 82/100
Bright white rind with a gentle bite and a wonderfully oozy middle. Its fresh vegetal and tangy aroma is enticing. The sweet and milky notes in the cheese are made richer thanks to the tangy and earthy taste. It has a creamy and gooey texture that kept us coming back for more.

RUNNER UP Neal's Yard Ragstone
Overall Score 80/100
Richly creamy cheese wrapped in a pearly-white rind. It has a wonderful milky-sweet scent with tangy, citric undertones. We enjoyed its earthy, almost blue-cheese flavour that goes well with the creamy taste. Possibly too strong for some.

This slightly crumbly cheese gets progressively softer towards the centre becoming temptingly gooey. Delicately grassy and milky in aroma; it has rich farmy, grassy notes, a lovely creaminess and a subtle tang. Quite a mellow flavour.

Capricorn Somerset Goat's Cheese

A fresh tasting cheese with a wonderful milkiness, a touch of sweetness and a delicate tang. Its nutty, salty aroma is followed by a slight creaminess. While we enjoyed the taste for the most part, many felt the flavour wasn’t punchy enough and found it a tad bitter. Slightly crumbly but smooth in texture.

Asda Soft Goat's Cheese

Irresistibly thick and smooth in texture. This cheese has a strong zesty aroma that compliments its fresh creaminess. It offers a lively tangy taste and has balanced salty notes that work well with its lemony, creamy flavour. However, some testers found its sharp hit a little too overpowering.

Overall Score 72/100
Loved for its delicately buttery, creamy flavour with testers saying it was more like a brie thanks to its mellow tang. We couldn’t get enough of the creamy, soft texture however, rind has a little too much bite with some complaining that it was chewy.

Testers enjoyed the fresh, milky notes in this cheese. Very fresh tasting too, it has a delicious saltiness however there was just too much acidity in this tangy, lactic cheese. That said we loved its creamy, almost mousse-like texture.

Despite its subtle aroma, this cheese is quite rich and complex in taste. Praised for its balanced acidity, buttery taste and creaminess. Testers enjoyed the slight lemony citric note. It has a lovely smooth texture but can leave the mouth feeling a little dry.

La Buchette Nature Goat's Cheese
Overall Score 69/100
Enticed by its creamy, tangy aroma, we found this cheese fresh and milky with lemony undertones that are just as pronounced in the taste. Its lactic taste was likened to fresh yoghurt however there’s not enough delicate creaminess to balance out the sharp hit. The texture is quite wet, however its thick, smooth consistency makes up for this.

Lidl Chene d'Argene French Goat's Cheese
Overall Score 68/100
Indulgently creamy, the cheese melts on the tongue, however much about it is slighty underwhelming. Though creamy and milky, its aroma is quite subtle. It has a clean taste, tart with some enjoyably lactic notes however its flavour is so gentle it was likened to crème fraiche.
