You can get so many flavoured gin liqueurs on the market now, it's hard to know which one to pick. Here are our favourites...
Flavoured gin liqueurs have risen in popularity thanks to a want for more interesting flavours. While a gin liqueur is still made with distilled gin, it'll have been infused with additional flavourings, and sweetened, meaning the alcohol content will be lower, and the sweetness and sugar content higher.
Gin liqueurs are great if you fancy a flavoured G&T but you're not a huge fan of the intense, juniper flavour of a traditional gin. But what are our favourites? We tried everything from floral to sweet, tangy to sour to find our favourite, and surprisingly (or unsurprisingly?) a budget supermarket took the two top spots.

This gin was a winner thanks to its sweet and floral aroma. On the nose we got elderflower and lemon verbena, too, while the pomegranate and rose makes a nice flavour combination. Perfect with Prosecco in the summertime.

RUNNER UP: Lidl Hortus Rhubarb & Ginger Gin Liqueur
People praised the runner-up gin for its floral and fragrant attributes. Described as creamy by some, it was overall seen as a refreshing and enjoyable liqueur to drink.

This gin is spiced yet fresh and vibrant with a lovely soft, creamy texture. It's noticeably sweet yet smooth.

Plenty of words came up in the flavour profile of this gin from lemonade and cream soda, to rhubarb and pine. We enjoyed its sweet taste and warming finish.

The Braemble Gin Liqueur
Lovely dark forest fruit flavours shone through here including black cherry and blackcurrant. Likened to blackcurrant squash, we enjoyed the sweet smell, paired with the medicinal and herby flavours of juniper.

This gin tasted syrupy, with sweet pineapple dominating, followed by a burnt sugar sweetness and warming ginger aftertaste.

The notes of passionfruit definitely come through here, along with hints of mango, apricot and other tropical fruits. Described as smooth to drink, this liqueur was sweet but not overbearing.

If you love strawberries you'll love this, with testers likening the aroma to strawberry laces or a jam doughnut. The texture is smooth and the alcohol warm, but a little too bitter for some tastes.

Flavours of strawberry, caramel, and even peppery rocket were described when tasting this complex gin. Not overly sweet, testers enjoyed the flavour but felt the finish could have been longer.

This gin had a well-balanced flavour profile, with notes of juniper, red berries, almond and bitter herbs coming through. A good gin, that left a minty freshness on the palate.
