Best shop-bought meat stuffing for Christmas dinner
Leave us to find the perfect accompaniment to your Christmas dinner. We tried 14 to find the best Christmas stuffing.

Here at the Good Housekeeping Institute, Christmas stuffing is one of our favourite foods on Christmas day.
It’s a crucial component to a perfectly complete Christmas dinner plate, but can shop-bought really beat homemade stuffing?
We always look for stuffing that is juicy and full of flavour, with succulent meat, traditionally seasoned with an assortment of sage, thyme, rosemary and parsley.
We aren’t picky when it comes to flavours, as long as it’s well-balanced. This year we had a great mix of unique flavours such as: fig and stilton, chicken and thyme, whisky and orange, and even one rolled in a pork crackling crumb. With the selection on offer, there is surely something to whet everyone’s appetites.
How we test
Our panel of 10 taste testers tried 14 different samples from supermarkets and brands, assessing on appearance, aroma, taste and texture to help you find the very best stuffing to go with your roast turkey this Christmas...
