Thanks goodness January is over because it was grey, icy and well...quite miserable, in my opinion! And now that it's over, we can move onto something that will definitely lift the spirits - Easter! Specifically...Easter eggs, because who doesn't love chocolate to lift the spirits?
Excitingly, Lindt has announced its Easter egg collection for 2025 and I had a chance to try some of the items - and there's definitely a contender in there that rivals Mini Eggs for me..
As well as some returning classics, there's a whole host of new products in store for Easter this year and these are the ones you don't want to miss.
Following on from the success of last year's new flavours (particularly the Pistachio, Tiramisu, and Dark Mint), Lindt has turned these flavours into LINDOR Easter eggs, too! Inside is a giant Easter egg and each pack is accompanied by LINDOR truffles. Just an FYI - Tiramisu and Pistachio flavours are exclusive to Tesco (and lindt.co.uk of course), so you'll have to venture there to seek them out.
There's a brand new Lindt GOLD BUNNY salted caramel bar that is so dangerously delicious, and is made using the classic milk chocolate we all know and love, and filled with specks of salted caramel pieces. DROOL.
If LINDOR is more up your street (the irresistible gold-foiled truffles), then you'll be pleased to know that there's a brand new LINDOR Rainbow Easter Egg, a box filled with a large chocolate egg, and a kaleidoscope of LINDOR truffle flavours (anywhere from milk, white, dark, pistachio and coconut!).
And finally, the most exciting launch from the collection for me are these brand new Lindt Whole Hazelnut Gourmet Mini Eggs. Available in a creamy milk chocolate and a decadent dark chocolate, these mini eggs are so moreish and addictive that I finished an entire pack in one day...
They're buttery smooth from the hazelnut cream, and each mini egg features a whole hazelnut inside for a nice crunchy texture. They're incredibly delicious and would make a perfect gift for a chocolate lover (or yourself).
