Most of us probably have mixed feelings about sugar - we love it for being delicious, loath it for being unhealthy and love to hate it for making a shocking headline. But what sugars are actually in our daily foods?

This quiz has been created in awareness of the Making Sense of Sugar campaign which aims to help us understand the role sugar plays in a balanced diet and how to recognise the good from the bad.

We think this is a great idea because, when we are surrounded by headlines telling us about good sugars versus bad sugar and glucose versus lactose, it can all become a little confusing.

The test reveals the truth about the sugar content in your bananas, orange juice and vegetables. So, take the test yourself to see if you know as much as you think - who knows, you could be consuming more bad sugars (or were they the good ones?!) than you think.
