Forget guacamole or salsa - dipping crisps into chocolate is the new thing to do this Christmas. In fact, Marks & Spencer have taken dipping out the equation completely by covering their tortilla chips in chocolate for you.
As part of their new festive range, the supermarket has launched a number of innovative treats, including a bag of Fire Roasted Tortilla Chips Dipped in Dark Chocolate. And it's a first for savoury snacks on the high street.
The salty tortilla chips are baked with red bell and jalapeño peppers and then dipped in dark chocolate to finish.
The salty/sweet/spicy combination may raise a few eyebrows ('Does this REALLY work?' we hear you cry), but what's not to love about chocoate and crisps?

You can pick the crisps up for £2 in M&S from October.
And fear not, if chocolate dipped crisps aren't your thing, there are a couple more innovative crisp products out on the market this Autumn for you to taste test instead.
M&S are also launching Bucks Fizz crisps (thanks to the popularity of their prosecco-flavoured ones last year), while Tesco have just bought out a limited edition bag of cocoa and spiced rum potato crisps.
And our crisp loving friends in Japan? Well, they've just invented vampire-esque Doritos, in the form of these black, garlic pepper flavoured crisps.
Excuse us while we go and eat our weight in snacks...
