The festive season is practically among us and with that comes lots of celebrating and a few glasses of fizz will inevitably be drunk. If you find a glass of prosecco a bit boring, you're going to want to try this new drinks range that Gordon’s has just launched.

Welcome to Gordon's Spritz Edition. Who says a spritz is only for summer? This is a dedicated product made especially for mixing with prosecco, and comes as a delicious, ultra-simple two-step serve, giving a bar-quality cocktail in the comfort of your home (or office if you're like us post 5pm).

Available in 500ml bottles from today, Gordon's new spritzes come in two flavours: Elderflower & Lime and Strawberry & Passionfruit. Perfect for those who like the option between zingy and uplifting, or sweet and tropical.

What to read next

All you need to do is pour one part Gordon's spritz (50ml) into a glass with two parts prosecco (100ml). This will ensure every glass strikes that perfect flavour-to-fizz balance. It's such an easy, almost instant cocktail idea that we think it's going to be the drink of the season. We can already imagine a big spritz bar set up in a kitchen - lots of bottles of prosecco chilling in ice (in the kitchen sink no less), plenty of sliced citrus fruits for garnish, and bottles of Gordon's Spritz Edition on the side so people can do a little DIY job at the bar. We're feeling very inspired.
