We may be in the thick of *another* summer heatwave here in the UK, but we never stop thinking about Christmas, and good timing because we've just heard that Kikkoman is giving the UK an exclusive treat this Christmas.

From October this year, Kikkoman, makers of the delicious soy sauce, is giving a limited number of soy sauce bottles a festive glow-up. Yes really, look how adorable it is!

The recognisable (150ml) bottles of naturally brewed soy sauce will be kitted out in a teeny tiny lil matching red knitted hat and jumper – and if you always get stuck on a Secret Santa gift idea, or want a silly Christmas stocking filler option for the foodie in your life, this is it. We've found it. Stop looking. Or, you know, get it as a treat for yourself. I know we will be.

What to read next

Thanks to its lengthy fermentation, Kikkoman Soy Sauce is extra rich in umami, making it the perfect seasoning for marinades, sticky glazes, sauces, stews, pie fillings, soups and bakes. And unlike most other soy sauces, it’s additive-free - just soybeans, wheat, salt & water and over 350 years of expertise is poured into every bottle for that pure, authentic taste.

Speaking of soy sauce, we recently made this Moo Ping Pork Skewer recipe the other day, which features a sticky, sweet marinade using soy sauce and they were incredible!

These cute limited-edition bottles will be sold on Amazon & Ocado with a retail price of £4.50, but be warned - once they’re gone, they’re gone!
