Aldi may not have been first in line to bring out their own version of a Dubai chocolate bar, but the budget retailer has finally announced the imminent arrival of their own version and don't they say good things take time?

Aldi actually came out with a very interesting interpretation of Dubai chocolate a few months ago, by releasing a brand-new Dubai chocolate ice cream tub and it was a sell out before we could even get to our nearest store to try it, so we expect this new chocolate bar to have the same effect on people - especially because it's being sold at such a reasonable price.

The brand-new product has been described as incredibly indulgent and features layers of rich pistachio cream and crunchy kadayif pastry, completely coated in a silky milk chocolate. It offers a blend of creamy sweetness, nutty pistachio richness, and delicate crunch and we think it will definitely rival all the other brands available.

The best part though is its price point. It will retail for £3.99 for a 100g bar (one of the cheapest options available) and there will be no limit on quantities purchased in store - so go wild we say!

There is a catch though. You won't be able to buy these online and they aren't available in stores yet. If you don't live near an Aldi you might struggle to get your hands on it. But, we've given you plenty of warning that this new launch won't be in stores until 12 June, and will be in the middle Specialbuys section of Aldi stores. The whole middle aisle will be transformed a pretty pistachio green colour, so hopefully you won't miss it.

If you really aren't too bothered about getting your hands on a Dubai chocolate bar, you should at least give our homemade version a try. It's really easy, and uses shredded wheat to mimic that crispy pastry layer!
