We're still not over the viral Dubai chocolate trend and it seems brands aren't either, with Melt, the luxury chocolatier in Notting Hill, jumping on the bandwagon and offering a very delicious riff on the Dubai chocolate - but in egg form!
The Pistachio & Kataifi Breton Egg is a hefty creation, coming in at a whopping 700g! But... with a price tag that might be shocking for some. Retailing for £69.95, this luxurious egg is on the upper end of pricing, but we honestly think it's worth it. One bite and we were hooked...
The Easter egg itself is made of irresistibly smooth milk chocolate with pistachio nibs and caramelised kataifi (a type of pastry commonly used in the Mediterranean and Middle East) with caramelised blonde chocolate. The brand took inspiration from the viral Dubai chocolate, with the texture being very dense yet insanely creamy, with the famous crunch you'd expect from the pastry. It is indulgent and a serious melt-in-the-mouth experience.
Melt was also recently awarded 'best design' in the Good Housekeeping Institute's best Easter egg taste tests for 2025, scoring 82/100, and hailed as being a perfect gift for loved ones this Easter. Truthfully, this is too nice to gift - keep it for yourself and call it a day..
