IKEA's not just about Billy bookcases and picking up 100 tealights you definitely don't need. Nope, it's also about Swedish meatballs, hotdogs and those self-serve ice cream machines after the checkout too.
And if you're someone that LOVES the IKEA food hall, you're going to be thrilled at this news. The homeware brand is now offering customers Afternoon Tea.
Otherwise known as Swedish FIKA (Fika meaning "to have coffee" in Swedish), IKEA customers can have afternoon tea for £5 this May.
The purse-friendly tea includes:
- Prawn & egg canape / Seaweed pearl & egg canape (v)
- Meatball open sandwich / Cheese open sandwich (v)
- Krustader with herring / Krustader with cheese & gherkin (v)
- Daim cake (v)
- Cinnamon bun (v)
- Kafferprep pastries & biscuits
You'll also get the chance to make your own canapes, and take away a free FIKA cookbook.
But you better be quick, the 45-minute slots are filling up fast, with only a handful left...
