Summer is great because it means picnics in the park and BBQs in the back garden. And with the (hopefully) warm weather comes some of our favourite drinks: Pimm's, Aperol spritz cocktails and of course pre-mixed cans of G&T.

And this year you'll be thrilled to hear that Marks & Spencer has launched two new G&T flavours just in time for the sunny season. Gin & Tonic Zest and Gin & Tonic Spice are two new ginproducts to hit the supermarket's shelves, made using M&S' most popular gin.

Working with a distillery in Clapham, South London, the supermarket brand and the distiller have been working hard to bring their two new gins in smaller-sized, pre-mixed cans.

Last year, Charles Maxwell from the Clapham distillery worked with M&S to launch two new gins to its shelves, but decided to transform them into ready-to-drink cans too, especially for summer, available in-store for £2.50 each.

These cans aren't the only fun gin product M&S has launched recently. Marks & Spencer has teamed up with Edinburgh-based distillery, The Old Curiosity, to launch two new flavoured gins to its range of spirits. The twist? Their pigments are altered when tonic is added, making them the first colour-changing gins to come to the high street.

As for the flavours, there are two to choose from. The British Rose Dry Gin, £25 per bottle, is created from one of the oldest rose varieties - the Apothecary Rose – and changes from a pale gold to a brighter pink shade when mixed with tonic.

The British Lavender Dry Gin, also £25, is made from the dried flowering plant, known for its calming properties, and turns from purple to pink.

Exciting!
