The Colin the Caterpillar cake from Marks & Spencer is a birthday favourite, but now another supermarket has bought out an animal mascot for Christmas, and he's set to rival the famous edible caterpillar.
Meet Roddy the Reindeer, Asda’s new Christmas mascot – who actually looks pretty cute.
With a long chocolate body coated in chocolate frosting and decorated with soft icing, Roddy comes complete with a bright nice and white fondant stars. Oh, and he's dairy AND gluten free!

He’s part of Asda’s new festive cake range which also includes a chocolate smash igloo, and a snowman cake that can be made in the microwave.
But cake fans who could never betray Colin, no fear. M&S is also bringing out a festive version of Colin topped with chocolate santa hats.
And he’s also got a Halloween makeover too, dressing up as Count Colin for the spooky season.
We’ll take one of each though, we’re not fussy!
