When it was announced Aldi was launching a pink gin as part of its brand spanking new gin range people were pretty excited.

But that’s not the only rose-tinted tipple the budget supermarket is launching. In fact, the pink gin is also joined by two other ‘millennial pink' boozy additions just in time for party season.

For those who love a glass of port with their cheeseboard, Maynard’s Pink Port will sure to be a crowd pleaser.

And then there’s the new pink Champagne (£15.99), Veuve Monsigny Pink Champagne Brut. This fizz is the rosier version of its standard Champagne counterpart which has won awards beating the likes of Laurent-Perrier and Veuve-Cliquot.

Aldi describe the Champagne as having the aromas of ‘strawberry brioche and toasted almonds’ with a ‘freshly picked raspberry and strawberry’ flavour.

And of course there’s the pink gin. Gin Lane 1751 Victoria Pink Gin is mixed from eight botanicals, including juniper, coriander, Sicilian lemon, Seville orange and star anise, and it's said to have a sweet and dry flavour thanks to a traditional Victorian recipe.

And it retails at a respectable £19.99 for a big bottle.

Rose-hued drinks are definitely making a comeback, with Gordon’s announcing the launch of its pink gin, Poetic Licence launching a strawberries and cream gin, and Wölffer Estate Vineyard releasing a batch of rosé wine gin.

And speaking of rosé wine, Decanter magazine revealed that sales of pink vino were up strongly, with rosé wine from the Provence region selling incredibly well.

We guess it’s time to drink pink!
