Just when we were getting over the excitement of Count Colin for Halloween (Colin the Caterpillar's spooky brother), Marks & Spencer has revealed that he's getting a Christmas makeover too.

To celebrate all things festive, the supermarket's famous edible caterpillar dons his Santa hat, becoming the perfect addition to any Christmas buffet table.

And rather than being one full-sized caterpillar, Colin will come as six miniature versions in a pack (£2), so plenty for everyone to go around.

Nothing has changed about Colin's flavour, but he instead comes complete with a chocolate Santa hat and rather than chocolate buttons, some sugar holly leaf decorations.

But don't go rushing out to shops just yet, M&S are just starting to release the Halloween version of the famous caterpillar, so we've got a little while to wait before we get into the Christmas spirit (the first week of October to be precise!)
