Dame Joan Collins has been announced as a new brand ambassador for M&S and she revealed the news in the most fabulous way.
A video shared to her instagram page with M&S, opens with Dame Joan sipping a cocktail and saying, "Whoever made this martini did a very good job."
In the clip, which is the first of a five part social series from the brand, Dame Joan talks about some of her favourite foods and memories associated with them, as well as revealing exactly how she likes her tipple of choice to be made.
The star explained that she likes to drink, "a very, very cold martini, with hardly any vermouth and no groceries," before adding it must be "shaken, not stirred."
During the video, Dame Joan reminisced about Queen Elizabeth II's Coronation Day and recalled sampling coronation chicken for the first time, as the dish was invented in honour of the occasion.
"I was a teenager and we all thought that was the most fabulous, exotic and glamorous meal we'd ever had," she said.
Dame Joan also revealed her guilty pleasure dish, explaining how she likes to have caviar served with sour cream and plenty of butter on top of a baked potato. When it comes to something something sweet, Dame Joan shared her preference for the classic meringue dessert, Eton Mess.
