If you've ever been to anywhere along Italy's southern coast, you'll know that a little takeaway spritz is a readily available treat.

While it's sort of a thing over here in the UK when the sun's shining, we've been yet to see it available from a mainstream outlet. Until now.

Caffè Nero is selling takeaway Italian Spritzes from today!

Made with sweet Sicilian lemonade, blended with orange syrup and soda water, it looks exactly like the classic Italian spritz-y drink we all know and love, but booze-free.

We're already seeing the post-lunch pick me up, spontaneous park walks or even a little sundowner with Caffè Nero's Italian Spritz in hand.

This summer drinks drop also includes a Tropical Fro-Yo Frappe Crème, which is basically a dessert in a drink, made with yoghurt ands fresh tropical fruit.

However, there's a catch. Caffè Nero won't be promoting these drinks in-st0re for the rest of April, so to get one before you'll have to specifically ask for one from your barista. Basically, to order one, you need to be in the know.

Also new from Caffè Nero this month is the absolutely dreamy-sounding Cherry Iced Latte, which the brand is sure customers will be obsessed with due to last year's incredibly popular Pistachio Iced Latte.

Will Stratton-Morris, CEO at Caffè Nero UK, comments: “Our summer drinks range has been hugely popular with customers. Last year our Pistachio Iced Latte was our best seller, and our new Cherry Iced Latte looks set to surpass it."
