Summer always brings tasty fruity alcohol launches and we never get less excited to try them. After last year's delicious Smirnoff Raspberry Crush and Smirnoff Mango & Passionfruit Twist, we've been eagerly anticipating what tasty flavour the iconic brand might treat us to this year.

And it doesn't look like we'll be disappointed. Smirnoff Berry Burst Vodka has just been revealed as the latest addition to the range. Made with natural flavours of juicy summer blackberries and blueberries it sounds dreamy, and we can't wait to get our paws on a bottle.

The new tipple is available from Morrisons now and throughout the summer, before rolling out to more retailers in September.

Along with the allure of its berry palette, we're totally sold on the brilliant shade of purple. Just think of all the gorgeous colourful cocktails you could make to delight guests at BBQ's, summer celebrations and garden gatherings.

Don't worry if cocktail making isn't your best skill, this will make impressive serves a doddle. The brand recommends a simple serve of 50ml of Smirnoff Berry Burst over ice, with 150ml of lemonade, garnished with mint or blueberry. Why not go crazy and garnish with both!

Who knows, maybe purple vodka will be the new pink gin? Though there's certainly room in our booze cabinets for both!

Smirnoff Berry Burst Flavoured Vodka is available from 20 June in Morrisons and nationwide from September at RRP £16.50, ABV 37.5%.
