Now the weather is getting warmer, there's nothing better than a G&T or cocktail in the garden when the weekend comes around.
And, who says you need to stick to dry gin for your G&T? The great news for gin fans is that Aldi has launched a Watermelon and Lime Gin Liqueur - and it sounds absolutely delicious!
So, just what can you expect from the flavour of this new creation? Aldi says: "Carefully crafted in small batches, the tipple boasts fresh sweet watermelon flavours that meet sharp citrus lime notes for a perfectly balanced taste. For the ultimate holiday feel, why not serve in a delicious Watermelon Gin Punch?"
We think the new flavoured gin liqueur sounds perfect mixed as part of a G&T or with lemonade - and garnished with a lime, of course. Aldi also suggests that you can make it into a 'Watermelon Gin Punch' cocktail using the below method:
- Using a watermelon, cut one end in a zigzag pattern and discard. Scoop the fresh watermelon out, place in a blender and process until smooth.
- Return the juice to the watermelon, add 250ml of the Infusionist Watermelon & Lime Gin Liqueur, 110g of a simple syrup, 3 freshly squeezed limes and mix.
- Top with ice, garnish with fresh mint sprigs and lime wedges – voila!
The new Watermelon and Lime Gin Liqueur is available from Aldi both online and in-store and costs just £10.99.
Alternatively, if vodka is your go-to spirit, Aldi has also launched a new creation for this spirit, too. The Saint Gérmont Raspberry Vodka is crafted in France and boasts a sweet and intense raspberry flavour.
