M&S has launched a Harry Potter themed advent calendar shaped just like the Hogwarts Express train.

The magical advent calendar is filled with chocolate treats to count down the days until Christmas. With the 1 December fast approaching, there’s less than a week until advent begins.

The M&S calendar is in stock online and available to order at Ocado. The best part is that the product is currently reduced by 25%, taking the price from £12 to £9.

A photograph of the impressive Hogwarts Express calendar was shared on the M&S Instagram account.

In a caption alongside the post, the retailer said, “Next week the countdown is officially on and we get to open the first door of our advent calendar... we couldn’t be more excited!!... Hands up if you know you’ll be finishing yours before the 25th…”

While traditional chocolate advent calendars remain popular, there are a whole host of countdown calendars now available.

Alcohol options including gin and wine advent calendars have been available for some time, but taking off most popularity most of the past few years has been beauty advent calendars.

Instead of a chocolate each morning, you can wake up to a shiny new cosmetic from your favourite brand such as cult lipsticks, luxury skincare and more pampering treats.

As this week is the final countdown to Black Friday, you can find of the best beauty advent calendars on offer for less, although many cult brands regularly sell out so keep an eye on stock levels!

M&S has also now launched its Black Friday sale with up to 50% off across homeware, fashion and more.
