Sadly, there’s no denying it – Bounty bars are always the ones left at the bottom of tubs of Celebrations. According to Mars Wrigley (the company behind Celebrations), Bounty are the nation’s least favourite, with over half (52%) of people surveyed saying they’d pick a Bounty last. And can you believe that 32% actually admit to throwing away the unwanted chocolates?!

Well, if you’re one of those heartless ghouls, you’ll be glad to hear you can return the Bounty bars and swap them for the far more popular Maltesers Teasers.

The scheme is rolling out across three locations Including Glasgow, London and Manchester from 17 January. For more information visit @UKCelebrations #LonelyBounty.

There’s even a short film to go alongside the return scheme, which shows ‘Lonely Bounty’ being paired up with the also ever unpopular (but wholly misunderstood) sprout.

Cemre Cudal, Mars Wrigley’s Head of Christmas said: "Our film highlights a love affair between two outsiders – Bounty and Sprout. The unlikeliest of couples but, nonetheless, a love for the ages. I defy anyone not to fall in love with Bounty after they watch this heart-breaking film. And if after all that, you still can’t bring yourself to love a Bounty this Christmas, we’ll take them back as part of our Bounty Return Scheme in January. Because no Bounty should be left alone at the bottom of a Celebrations tub!"
