Gary Barlow has been hinting to fans about a big new endeavour and now the music mogul has revealed what he's been up to, and it's not what we expected. Following in the footsteps of Phillip Schofield and Kylie, Gary is launching his own wine brand.

Sharing the news to his Instagram, the TV star asked; "Did anybody guess correctly ? I've been very excited to share this project with you all... My most memorable evenings are spent with good friends and family. They are full of laughter and, of course, great wine. So, I’m thrilled to announce that @garybarlowwines is here ! 🍷 "

Launching with a red and a white organic wine, both blends from Spain that Gary worked with winemakers to create, they cost just £8 each.

I am lucky enough to have travelled the world and experience many different food and wine cultures and these experiences have formed the foundations of the wines I have created."

As for his choice of Spanish wine, Gary explained his long connection with the country: "Spain has an extremely special place in my heart – it’s a land of firsts for me – the first time I left the country for a holiday, the first place Take That ever played in outside of the UK and now my first wine!"

This is a totally new step for the musician and TV star, but he's certainly happy so far, saying; "I am so thrilled with the results and I hope you enjoy these wines as much as I enjoyed the process of creating them - whether you are lucky enough to be drinking them in Spanish style sunshine or round the table this Christmas with your loved ones."
