If you loved last year's limited edition Gin and Tonic After Eights, then we have good news. The classic chocolate fondants have once again been reinvented with a boozy twist, this time taking inspiration from fruity mojitos!
Inspired by the iconic Cuban Cocktail, Mojito and Mint Flavour After Eights are, like the popular G&T variety, only around for a limited time, so you'll have to act fast. They land in supermarkets and convenience stores from the beginning of September, so keep your eyes peeled!
The treat is made up of the mint-flavoured fondant we know and love but with a zesty mojito flavour combined, and of course coated in delicious dark chocolate.
Debbie Bowen, Senior Brand Manager for After Eight said in the press release: "Last year’s limited edition Gin & Tonic After Eight was a huge hit with consumers, and we think our newest invention will prove even more popular!
"After Eight Mojito & Mint is a grown-up and sophisticated take on our classic fondant, with a refreshing and zesty flavour that is sure to delight fans of the brand both old and new. Whether you enjoy it alongside an after dinner coffee or as a treat at any time of the day, we think our newest mint is a delicious tribute to one of the nation’s favourite cocktails!"
Limited edition After Eight Mojito & Mint, which is available in a 200g carton (RRP £3), will hit major supermarkets and convenience stores across the UK and Ireland from the beginning of September.
