Aldi has announced a new raspberry mojito rum as part of its spirits range for summer.
The rum has been combined with the same tasty ingredients as a fruity mojito to create the ultimate summer tipple.
The drink, “boasts notes of sweet fresh raspberry, citrus with delicious mint,” and we can’t wait to take a sip. A 70cl bottle is £14.99 and is available in store.
The retailer has also announced a new tropical pineapple rum as part of its summer offerings which is only available for a limited time.
The dark rum is described as having “mouth-watering island flavours of pineapple, tropical fruit, red apple and just a hint of spice.” Aldi recommends serving it over ginger beer with a slice of lime for a truly tropical take.
The Cassario Tropical Pineapple Rum is also £14.99 for a 70cl bottle.
For those who prefer to stick to the classics, you can get your hands on Cassario Spiced Rum for the same price, which has won tasting awards.
The “premium black spiced rum” is the perfect drinks cabinet staple for making exotic cocktails this summer so you can get a taste of holidays abroad, even while staying in the UK.
All three drinks are from Aldi’s own brand Cassario Rum range, which won awards at both the Spirits Business Rum Masters and World Rum Awards.
The rums are currently available in Aldi and are in stock ahead of World Rum Day this weekend (10 July) so you can toast to the occasion with a fresh new beverage.
