M&S has added a brand new, ridiculously cheesy addition to its Easter range and we’re just about ready to dive in head-first.
Gone are the days when Easter was considered a chocolate-heavy national holiday. M&S’s new ‘Dippy Egg’ cheese bake is the festive, egg-themed cheese fondue we were all missing this spring – and you better believe us when we say we’ll be eating three a week for the foreseeable.
On the Ocado website, the cheesy sensation is described as a baked cheese dip made from extra mature cheddar, soft cheese, crème fraiche and garlic in the outer paler ring (you know, the bit the resembles the egg white) and red Leicester, soft cheese, crème fraiche and garlic in the inner yolky core.
The ‘dippy egg’ dip comes in a little heat-safe pot, too, so you can bung the whole thing in the oven for half an hour and voila! A whole pot of molten, cheesy, festive goodness, ready to be dunked straight into.
This isn’t the first Easter product from M&S getting us excited for the arrival of April. For those who won’t get to see their loved ones this Easter, M&S launched a brand-new, letterbox easter hamper.
