For the first time Colin and Connie Caterpillar will be sold together in M&S stores. The couple, who met in 2016 and had a whirlwind wedding in 2017, have had a Valentine's day makeover and are being sold as a pair in a 'Love Cocoon' to celebrate St Valentine's Day 2021.
They've sat side by side on M&S shelves in standard, giant and mini forms but this is the first time they're tucked in together. Each is half the size of the standard chocolate sponge and buttercream cakes, so that together they make a whole. So romantic.
The Colin and Connie Love Cocoon costs £10 and each of the sweethearts is decorated with heart shaped eyes and heart decorations for the special day.
Colin commented in the press release: “Connie and I live for birthday parties but we have a feeling we’re going to LOVE Valentine’s Day even more! We’re SO excited to celebrate with our fans in their own ‘lockdown love cocoons’ across the UK!”
M&S has also launched a Love Is In The Air Colin & Connie Gift Bag (£30) online which includes the Love Cocoon cakes alongside Colin sweets, mini Colin faces, mini Colin cakes and a gift bag and can be delivered straight to a friend or loved ones door... or your own.
Or for birthday's or those solo this Valentine's day there are also these Colin the Caterpillar Cake Gift Bags for delivery costing £25. Also providing a substantial amount of tasty Colin treats.
Love Cocoon Colin & Connie £10, 705g , available in M&S Food stores now.
